Verlee Elizabeth Pollock

Verlee Elizabeth Pollock, the daughter of the late Lum Alexander and Bertha Wilson, was born April 20, 1927 in Gaston County, North Carolina. She departed this life Friday, August 25, 2017 at her residence. Verlee Elizabeth Pollock retired from the Willow Brook Develop Center, Staten Island, New York. She attended Tri-City Baptist Church in Conover, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband James Henry Pollock; her sons Samuel Pollock, Ronald Pollock, and James Roger Pollock; her sisters, Christine Ramseur, Gracie Pickett; and her brothers, James Tom Jones, Herbert Wilson, William Wilson, Grady Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her sons, Richard Pollock (Dolores) of Nebraska, Mark Pollock of Texas; Her sisters Eva Mae Watkins of Newton, N.C., Betty Little of Greensboro, N.C., Ernestine Turner of Hickory, N.C., Edith Clemons of Conover, N.C., Dorothy Hester of Hickory, N.C., and Barbara Wilson of Hickory, N.C.; and her brothers Charles Wilson of Hickory, N.C., and Richard Wilson of Hickory, N.C.; Grandchildren Mark Pollock, Jr. Staten Island, N.Y., Jasmine Pollock of N.J., Jade Pollock of N.Y., Shireen Pollock, Richard Pollock, Jr., Verlee Denise, Cynthia Renee(Sasia), Richard Ismael and Jeremiah Pollock. Arrangements are with Hickory Funeral Home.
