Wanda will be deeply missed by all that knew her. I grew to love her as a sister.
I worked with her for many years at Hickory Springs Mfg . Co. We became very close and not only worked together, but did a lot of things together including her going on trips together with my husband John and I.

Wanda will long be remembered as a kind and loving person by many as well as her family.

I worked for years at Hickory Springs down the hall from Wanda Simmons.
In all the time I knew her she was always a person who would brighten my day . Without fail, she would always engage me with that broad bright wonderful smile and we would have delightful discussions. Her infectious laughter will continuously be ingrained in my head. It makes me smile just to remember. The pride she took in her 2 sons was obvious to anyone who ever got to know her.

To her sons and all who were close to her, I am saddened by your loss. Wanda was a gift to all of us who were ever lucky enough to cross paths with her in life.

Donna and I have met Wanda on trips to Arkansas with our friend Craig Valentine. She was a friendly, beautiful, intelligent woman and it felt like we had known her forever. She certainly was a brave woman who fought cancer valiantly and lived life to the fullest. Prayers and condolences to her family and those who loved her. Rest In Peace Wanda.
