William Carson Hicks

Born March 8, 1934 in Watauga County, NC, he was the son of the late William Arnie Hicks and Pearl Harmon. He retired as a foreman in the textile industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Hicks; son, Mike Hicks; one brother and one sister.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Nancy Hicks; grandchildren, Chancey Hicks, Jeremy Hicks and wife Chassidy and J.C. Hicks and wife Tara; great-grandchildren, Carson Hicks and Jinxx Hicks; three brothers and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Pastor Johnny Tomblin officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
