William (Willie Pete) S. McCall, age 55 went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 16, 2021. He was born on March 21, 1965 in Winston-Salem, NC and lived in Lenoir, NC when he went home to be with the Lord.

William grew up in Lexington and Taylorsville NC. He graduated from Thomasville Senior High. He was a Maintenance Technician and Chef at several restaurants in different cities. He loved to cook, loved to eat, and try different foods. William also, mentored people that’s in recovery and helped them to achieve some of their goals.

William leaves to cherish his happy memories, his loving wife of 7 years, Kimberley; children, Sarah Gathings, Granddaughters, Jaylyn Gathings and Nevaeh Smith; Father, Richard Brevard; Mother – late, Inettia McCall; Step children, Jonathan and Dominique; Sister, Ronjwack Pitt; Bro-in-laws, Terry Pitt and Chris Bratton; Aunts, Nancy, Bernice and Hazel; Brothers, Bobby and Eddie; Mother-in-law, Lois Bratton and a very special friend, Charles (Blue boy) Blue and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He rejoins his family that departed before him, Grandparents, William Samuel and Virginia McCall, Tammy Brevard. Also, Aunt Terra Jackson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Linda Tyler officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
