William was born in Richmond County, March 23, 1948 to the late William Walker Sessoms Sr. and Katie Mary Eddins Sessoms.
He loved fishing, going to the beach, occasionally going to the flea market and traveling to Florida.
Surviving are his children William Eugene Sessoms of Granite Falls, Kathy Sessoms of Granite Falls, Timothy Sessoms of Hickory, Eric Sessoms of Taylorsville, Ethan Sessoms of Hickory, sisters Jennie Lowery Penley and husband Arlie of Hickory, Ann Suttle of Granite Falls and Virginia Reid of Granite Falls.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
