Wilma Mae Hall Huffman

Wilma Mae Hall Huffman, 87, of Hickory, passed away June 25, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born January 5, 1928 in Alexander County, she was the daughter of the late William David Hall and Gertrude Benfield Hall. She was of the Methodist faith and retired as lunchroom manager of St. Stephens Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Olivia Diane Seitz; brothers, Eugene Hall and Wade Hall; and sister, Ruth Teague and husband Paul.

Wilma is survived by her sons, O. David “Fuzzy” Huffman and wife Dorothy of Hildebran and O. Dennis Huffman and wife Brenda; granddaughter, Meredith Scott and husband Troy and great-grandchildren, Conor and Mallory Scott and son-in-law, Billy Seitz.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Pastor Terry King officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
