Zelpha was born September 23, 1926 in Catawba Co. to the late Clarence and Anna L. Johnson Deitz
.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dolan Ward and a son, Ronald Tate Ward.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Williams and husband, Pat of Shallotte, N. C., sons; Dennis Ward and wife Peggy of Cary and Carl Ward and wife Martha of Gibsonville, brother, Adrian Deitz of Colorado and 5 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 6, at 11:00 A. M. at Fairview Cemetery with the Reverend Ernest Richards officiating ,
