Aida Berrios age 91 of North Babylon, NY sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Beloved mother of Vincent (Georgia) and the late Michael Anthony Berrios. Adored grandmother of Nichole (Joseph), Michael Vincent Berrios and Brittany Berrios and cherished great grandmother of Joseph Jr., Dakota, Charlie, and twins Wylder & Ryder. May her memory be eternal.
Aida was a woman who loved deeply, laughed often, and knew how to enjoy the simple things in life. Above all else, she loved her family and friends. She had a tremendous love for dogs and found happiness in so many of life’s little pleasures. She loved the beach, playing dominoes and cards, shopping, enjoying a good drink and a good meal. She simply loved being out, having fun, and making memories with the people she loved.
Aida faced tragedies and obstacles throughout her life, that shaped her into the strong, independent woman she was. She carried a quiet strength within her. Through everything she endured, she continued to find reasons to laugh, love, enjoy herself, and appreciate the people and moments that brought her happiness.
Her personality, warm smile, and piercing eyes brought a special warmth to any room she entered. Aida understood that life was meant to be enjoyed, and some of the best memories we have of her were found in the simplest, most ordinary moments.
Her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of everyone who loved her. Yet so much of Aida will remain with us—in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, the places and little things that remind us of her, and the countless memories we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
We are incredibly grateful for every laugh, every conversation, every adventure, every memory, and every moment we were lucky enough to share with Aida. Her life touched ours in ways that will never be forgotten, and her love, strength, and spirit will remain a part of us always.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Aida’s life at a memorial visitation set for Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 4pm – 8pm at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, NY. May Aida’s memory and love forever remain in our thoughts and hearts.
