

Ann Champouillon, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at the age of 93. A resident of Amherst, New York, and formerly of Hicksville, New York until 2008, Ann lived a full and loving life surrounded by family and cherished memories.
Born on November 21, 1931, Ann shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, William. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and enduring love. She is survived by her children Robert (Carolyn) and Kathleen (Johnny) and was predeceased by her son William (Glenn).
Ann’s love extended deeply to her grandchildren, Robert, Lauren, Ryan, William, Jacqueline, Cody, Philip, and Geena, and to her seven great-grandchildren, Kayla, Calllie, Cory, Aubrey, Ayden, Robert, and Alexis, each of whom brought her great joy and pride.
She is also survived by her siblings Fran, Helen, Marie, and Sue, and was predeceased by her beloved sister Sophie and brother George.
Ann dedicated 11 years to volunteer work with the Brave Hearts of St. Francis Hospital, where she offered compassion and support to others with her kindness and generosity. Above all, Ann loved her family deeply and found her greatest happiness in their company.
Family and friends may visit on Monday at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 12:15 p.m., followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery in Wading River, New York.
Ann will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
