Antoinette Tomei, age 73, of Plainview, New York passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Antoinette is survived by her daughter Jane Reiss; her son Daniel Robin; and her son-in-law Michael Reiss; her grandsons, Ethan and Spencer Reiss. Antoinette was preceded in death by her mother Anna Tomei and her father Dino Tomei; her brother Aldo Tomei. Beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend. She was an elegant, caring and passionate person; a mother to everyone. She will always be loved by her family and those who had the pleasure of knowing her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, 500 S. Oyster Bay Road, Hicksville, New York 11801. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, New York 11590. Please join us immediately after the Interment for a repast for Antoinette at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801.
