Carole Lutz passed away on June 10th, 2025. At the age of 90, born in Queen's. She moved to Hicksville in 1958. She will now rest in peace with her beloved husband Stephen Lutz Sr. Carole was a loving mother of 5 children William, Stephen, Joseph, Susan and John. Carole has left behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Carole worked for Gertz, Sterns and retired from Macy's in Hicksville, she also worked in the religion office and taught religion class at Holy Family Parish. Carole also was a Eucharistic Minister all in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Carole will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A visitation for Carole will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM & Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 17 Fordham Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801. A committal service will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792.
