Cary Briganti, age 62, sadly passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Cary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 26 years, Lena, and their cherished children, Justin and Alex. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Debbie, Donna (Kevin), Diana, Michael (Rosemarie), Jack (Carol), and Dawn; his beloved nieces and nephews, Kevin, Patrick, Brian, Erin, Michael (Stephanie), Marisa, Christie, and Wally; and his adored great-niece, Meadow.
Cary was a proud, selfless, and devoted man who always put his family first. His greatest joy came from seeing his wife and children happy. Their happiness was his happiness, and his love for them was unwavering. He was a source of strength, love, and devotion to those fortunate enough to know him, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
Cary leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
A viewing for Cary will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, and Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Glen Head, NY, with interment immediately following at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Westbury, NY.
