Daniel Reres

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Daniel Reres, 66, of Levittown, NY on February 6, 2024. Daniel was the beloved son of Mary Reres, husband of Tempest Reres, brother of Mark Reres, father of Dominic Reres and Mallori Reres, stepfather of Misty Jones and Breanna Ogg, grandfather of Amelia Reres, and pawther of Boomer and Bo Reres.

Daniel spent 30 years of his life as a Master Mechanic and Welder at the Town of Oyster Bay and as such there was not one problem he could not fix. This knowledge and know-how made him indispensable to his colleagues and customers, who often relied on him to get through the most difficult of issues.

Daniel’s hobbies were a reflection of his love for life and animals. In his spare time, he enjoyed building and fixing cars and trucks. He made it a point to continue to expand his koi pond, which he often considered his personal oasis. With his love of animals at the forefront of his life, Daniel always made sure to take care of the neighborhood cats, who knew they could wander over to him for snacks and pets. And he spoiled his dogs, especially his Samantha.
