Diana Hart Marro passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026 at the age of 87. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 3,1939, Diana lived a life filled with love, laughter, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Diana was the beloved mother of Patrick Hart (Julie Milone), Timothy Hart, Christopher Hart (Theresa), Bethann Hart-Travella (Nick), and Ann Margaret Hart. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Mary Doyle and a proud and devoted grandmother to Katie Lynn Hart and Timothy Hohn Hart, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
To know Diana was to know warmth, generosity, and happiness. She was truly the life of every party, with a contagious spirit that lifted those around her and inspired everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her home was always open, welcoming family, friends, and especially the neighborhood children. So many fondly remember wanting to spend time at the "Hart House," where Diana made everyone feel like part of the family. She was a mother to all.
Diana found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a passion for gardening and delighted in surrounding herself with beautiful flowers. She had an enormous love for animals, especially her cherished dogs and cats, whose companionship brought her comfort and happiness. She loved dancing, listening to music, celebrating with family, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
The holidays were among Diana's greatest joys, especially Christmas. She took great pride in decorating her home, transforming it into a place of warmth, beauty, and celebration. Her holiday gatherings became treasured traditions that her family will carry in their hearts forever.
Above all else, Diana's greatest love was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness, always offering unconditional love. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and joy will continue to live on in all those whose lives she touched.
