Dickinson, Donald Bernard, 94, of Plainview, N.Y. passed peacefully at home on November 4, 2021. Adored father of Patricia Corey, Robert (Diane), Donald (Susan), Beatrice (James) Reiser, and Roger (Beth). Predeceased by his wife, Beatrice, his son, Daniel, his son-in-law, Mike Corey, and granddaughter, Diane Corey. Proud Papa of 14 grandchildren, and great grandfather of 4. Dear brother-in-law to George Brecht, his late wife Gloria, and uncle to Greg and Tricia. Devout member of St Pius X. World War II Marine Corp. Veteran. Knights of Columbus member. Proud St John’s alum. Avid sports fan of all N.Y. teams. Greatest joy was watching his kids and grandkids compete. Remembered by his family and friends for devotion to his wife, his loving heart, gentle and friendly manners, his warm smile, his humble presence, and his blue eyes.
