Donna Marie Price

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Price, of Medford formerly of Hicksville, who left this world peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 68. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, Donna's warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on April 30, 1957, to the late Edward and Jacqueline Ericksen, Donna was raised with strong family values that guided her throughout her life. She went on to graduate from the Adelphi University School of Nursing, a career path that reflected her deeply caring nature. As a Registered Nurse, Donna dedicated herself to the well-being of others with compassion, grace, and an ever-present smile. After many years of service, she retired, but her nurturing spirit never faded.

Donna shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Robert G. Price, standing by his side throughout his 51 years of service with the Westbury Fire Department and 35 years with Nassau County law enforcement agencies. The friendships and bonds formed during that time were a meaningful part of Donna’s life, and she remained proud of the strong community they built together.

Donna was a devoted mother to Robert Price Jr. (Allyson) and Thomas (Linda)Price, and her greatest joy came from being “Grandma” to Ryan, Braden, Liam, and Colin. Her love for her grandchildren was evident in every cookie baked, story told, and camping trip shared. She found joy in the simple pleasures including camping, baking, travel, and shopping.

A beloved sister to Janet (Elliot) Karp, Loving Aunt to Erika and David Karp and a proud Godmother to Anna Swinchuck, Donna always made time for family, making each person feel valued and loved. Her legacy is one of strength, kindness, and unwavering love.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna’s life at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 2:00–4:30 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Hicksville, NY, with interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Old Westbury, NY.
