I will forever remember her a Miss Ticho, my Third grade teacher at St. Raphael's in East Meadow. A memory I have is after I had a fight in school with another boy, Miss Ticho took both of us to Jones Beach. We became good friends after that. She had a heart of gold. RIP Miss Ticho.

Dear Dick, Richard, Jimmy, Tommy, Nicole, and family,

I am so sorry for the loss of Dotty. She was called to another place too soon. I wish I could have been there to share my condolences in person.  I have fond memories of her and appreciated her kindness, and generosity. She was always ready to lend a hand no matter what especially for her family. She will be greatly missed and her spirit lives on in those who were lucky to have the chance to know her.

So sorry to hear about her passing- growing up around the block from her my entire childhood are memories I will never forget ! Always smiling and peeking out the door while we all rode bikes - then as I became a mother she was always the first to like my Facebook posts and comment - always such sweet comments ! She will be missed and I loved looking at all her photos and the family growing over the years ! Plus she always had the best tan!

Miss Ticho was my 2nd grade teacher at Park Avenue School in Williston Park, NY. She made quite an impression on me in those days, and I was thrilled to be able to connect with her on Facebook. It took a little getting used to referring to her by her first name ("What do you like to be called?" I asked. "Dottie" she replied), but I'll tell you,  it always brought a huge smile to my face when she would comment positively on one of my posts. She will be missed.

I miss you. I wish we could FaceTime so you can tell me to smile so you can see my teeth & tell me how handsome I am.  Lake George will never be the same without you and I promise to get a huge ice cream cone from Martha’s for you.  I love you.

To My Mother in Law Dotty,
I first want to thank you for raising Tommy , my husband, to the man he is today. He is warm, loving, incredibly generous, patient & unconditionally understanding. He has always admired & spoke so highly about you.  I was always taught, watch how a man treats his mom and that is how he’ll treat you. I hit the jackpot! Secondly, THANK YOU for being such an amazing GRANDMA to our children. They were your world & you let everyone including them know it. #1 fan at football, lacrosse, soccer, cheer, dance, awards, concerts etc.  The kids have so many gifts they can have as keepsakes to last forever. Amazing memories were made on the many vacations we’ve taken together. How lucky we are!! 
Finally, thank you for accepting me as your only daughter, you’ve always been so thoughtful & loving towards me, you always complimented me on the way I am raising Nico, Matteo & Abrianna and that meant the world to me. I wish I could have said goodbye & thanked you in person. I love you & will miss you deeply, always.
