Fran was born to Edward and Frances Wickman in Flushing, Queens. Fran graduated from Bayside High School in 1961.
In 1972, Fran met John while bowling in East Meadow. They went to a restaurant at the Chrysler Building on their first date. Fran and John have three children combined between them; Debbie, Karen and Jeff.
Fran began working at South Woods Middle School in Syosset, NY in 1989. She worked in the Main Office and the Attendance Office and made many close friends there.
In 2013 Fran retired and spent her time relaxing on their deck, reading books, joined clubs and spent time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Sunday, Sept. 14th at 4pm. The church is located at 23 Cedar Shore Drive, Massapequa, NY 11758.
