Francisco, my dear friend since middle school, I am devastated that I will never get to see you here on earth again. I am so glad we were able to remain close friends all  these years. You were always so friendly and inviting to me, and you truly made me feel like I was part of your family. What a man you were, so kind, creative, honest, and brave. I will always hold the memories I made with you as treasures.  Take care brother, until I see you again.

Francisco Pérez, an angel sent from Heaven to light up our lives with his joy, wisdom and excitement to live unconditionally. 
I had the privilege to spend a week with the Perez family in Florida in 2016. In name of the Corazon Communication, supported by the Make-A-Wish family and Give Kids The World, we helped to enhance Francisco’s wishes to experience so many adventures at the amusement parks such Disney World, Universal Studios, an indoor skydiving, and we even had a chance to go to church for Easter Sunday together.  Later that year, I came up to NY and celebrated my birthday with them as we became family in loving and caring.  
Francisco has taught me so much throughout the course of our friendship. His legacy is for all of us to never ever give up on our dreams. To have FAITH and that a challenge is an opportunity for us  to step out of the comfort zone and let the inner strength push us through. Thank you my dear Francisco for being God’s messenger in the World. 

Siempre que pienso en Francisco se me viene a la mente un chico super risueño, con sus risas peculiares y sus muecas en cada momento, esa persona que a pesar de todo siempre le sonreía a la vida y nos enseñaba cosas nuevas, que de la nada te contaba cosas que ni te imaginabas que sucedían de esa manera, esa persona que no tenía que esforzarse para caer bien a las personas, que simplemente con ser él mismo tenías ganas de conocerlo más, esa persona que era bueno en todo lo que hacía, en los estudios, en la música, en los videojuegos, en todo. Sin duda una de las personas que siempre llevare en mi pensamiento y que recordare siempre por todo lo que me enseño en el poco tiempo que pudimos compartir. Que en paz descanses pequeño angelito. Y espero que cuando nos volvamos a encontrar, espero que me sigas contando cosas que no sabía. 

Mis más sentido pésame a su familia.  Realmente no lo he conocido, pero mi hija me dice que estaban en el mismo grupo de OP en NYU.  Dios lo ha acojido en sus brazos. La pérdida de un hijo es un dolor irreparable.  Que Dios les dé fuerza a toda su familia.

Lo normal es que los hijos enteremos a nuestros padres, siendo esto tal doloroso, no quiero imaginar el inmenso dolor que se debe sentir al despedir a un hijo, no lo conocí en persona pero he visto lindos comentarios hacia el, te acompañamos Dennis en tu dolor, mis condolencias

Francisco, I remember  your dedication to AP biology.  You never stopped.  Even when absent you persevered.  You were just so amazing.  I remember your love  of penguins, and the penguin encounter you and your family got to go on.  Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you or your family.  May you rest peacefully in heaven and continue to watch and protect over your family and loved ones.   See ya later Francisco.

I NEVER met this young man but My son Austin was friends with this young man. Even though I NEVER met him, I heard and saw the positive outpour of love and dedication that was so deeply touched by Human Beings and most of all, kids.
I never stopped praying every night for this Child when we had family prayers, I am so heartbroken that I never met him BUT I am glad that my family was a force every night like many out there praying for him whole heartedly, clenching our hands together. 
Rest in Peace Francisco, The Angels are taking you to meet your creator, Our Lord Jesus Christ. 
As a parent of three kids, I weep silently and our hearts are broken, BUT one day we will all meet in that promised Land called HEAVEN. 
Our prayers and love are always with the parents, siblings and extended family and friends.
