Dear Helen and the entire Wich f amily.  Although I have never met Gertrude, through Helen and being on the receiving end of her endless craft projects and just talking I feel like I truly knew her.  My deepest sympathy to all and I know that God has accepted one of his angels  into his kingdom...

As with Jean Wich's father, -who had also passed- George Wich's mother was very lucky to have family so close by for support and to celebrate  with them in special occasions; they were also privileged with such a family lineage: to witness the birth and growth of such beautiful children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren!  

May both Jean and George's parents be supported, protected and nurtured in their after lives.  Sending lots of love and support during this time to the Wich family who, in turn, have also served as my neighbors and family over the decades in NY.  Love you all~

Mom working magic with that Turkey...A spectacular cook❣

Every year mom would have her Halloween bash. She would decorate the house and always dress up. All of her grandkids always looked forward to this. We never knew what costume she would have until getting to the party so it was always a great surprise. One year she dressed up as Frankenstein and my daughter Allie was the bride. Everyone and her grandkids will always remember these moments. My mother law was a lot of fun and laughs will miss you mom love you❤️

Thank you to the strongest, kindest, most giving and caring person I've ever known in my life.  I will miss you forever.

I always dreaded the day my mom would pass.  I know how extraordinarily fortunate I was to call her mom  all these years. I will miss our multiple daily phone calls where I had her laughing so hard she had to hang up (not because I am funny but mom would still make me think I was). I will miss our weekly visits where mom would love to have conversations about world events or we would just sit and enjoy each other’s company.  Mom loved to listen to music and I would find myself driving home and singing show tunes and Perry Como.  I loved to hear mom reminisce about her loving  and happy childhood, how she fell in love with dad, her grandchildren and her great grandson, Leo.  Mom was a beautiful, kind woman with a radiant spirit. I can honestly say I have never heard mom say a bad word about anyone. Even in the end when her body was in pain she kept her positive attitude.  I know I speak for myself and the rest of my family  we will miss mom everyday but we now   have an angel watching over us .
Mom, I love you today, tomorrow and forever

Mom asked Dad to a work function  in the Hawian Room of the Hotel Lexington because he "Needed a good meal"🤣🤣🤣 Made the dress herself...💞

To my dear friend George and the entire family,
My sincere condolences at this time. I am so sorry for the loss of your devoted loved one. 
I have fond memories during my youth shared with her son George of her loving and kind spirit. A warm host offering her home and meals to two young men adventuring through life.  A sweet, sweet woman may she rest in peace as promised by our Heavenly Father.  Prayers offered for the family and friends to receive the Holy Spirit’s comfort, peace and assurances of these promises.

"Mom", the "Warrior Queen", thank you for the light you brought into the world. 
Being one of the many lucky ones who  had a place on your prayer list was a distinct privilege. I will forever be thankful for our long, happy connection. Sending much love to the entire Wich family at this difficult time.
