Gianna Rose Altman

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our precious angel, Gianna Rose Altman, who left us far too soon on June 7, 2025, at just one year old.

Gianna was the beloved daughter of Christine and Gary Altman, the cherished sister of Vala, and the adored goddaughter of Kelly and Michael. She was the treasured granddaughter of grandma Donna Farella, Rose ("Granny"), Russell ("Popop") and Rana.

Though Gianna's time with us was brief, her light shone brightly. A smart, loving, and joyful baby, Gianna brought warmth and laughter to all who knew her. While she had not yet found her words, her actions spoke volumes — always eager to help her mommy and daddy in any way she could. She was delighted in being outside, playing in the ball pit, jumping on the trampoline, and running in and out of the tent with her sister, Vala — moments that will forever live in our hearts.

Gianna's memory will be eternal, her spirit a guiding light in the lives of those who loved her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, NY, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 9:45 AM at Holy Family Church, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
