Trying to find out if this is the "Aunt Gloria" I knew from childhood on.  She was my Mom's best friend.  Was her maid of honor at her wedding.  Her husband was killed in the Korean war and she never but had nephews and nieces she loved dearly.  She lived in Ozone Park, NY forever it seems.  I can still picture her kitchen with the brick looking floor. I used to go there when my parents would play cards.  She the kindest most delightful person with a fantastic sense of humor and always a story to tell.  Would love to connect with a family member to see how her life went after her significant other, Fred, passed away,

On behalf of my late husband, Raymond Gilvard, our daughters Pamela Gilvard Jones, Jacqueline Gilvard Landry and myself, I would like to offer our condolences to Gloria Huckin's  family.  We never met Aunt Gloria but did communicate through Christmas cards for a number of years after Ray's death.  She gave us some insights into the early years of the Gilvard and Sauve families.  We enjoyed and looked forward to her cards.  It was nice to have that connection to Ray's family.  Our sympathy and very best wishes to all of you.

Craig and I were remembering our visit with Aunt Gloria in North Carolina when she visited our home with Aunt Lou.  She was always smiling and very happy.  Also, our NY visits to her home. We all enjoyed talking about the family history and then taking her to her favorite German restaurant in her neighborhood.  Aunt Gloria was always a bright light and we know she is enjoying her heavenly home now.
