Anuradha, Ashish, Gautam and family
We are deeply saddened by Hari’s passing away. Please accept our sincere condolences.
I have known Hari from mid seventies, the time he arrived in New York. We became friends. He was very sincere and honest man.
While in New York, he met a nice a lady Anuradha, a resident physician in OBS&GYN. Without wasting much of the time, both decided to get married. I attended the marriage. Everyone had a good time, a lot of loud music, laughter every where. Hari was very happy and so was Anuratha.
As the time went by they had two sons and raised the family in best way possible.
I saw Hari again in New York in mid eighties, that time his family was out of town visiting some relatives. We were 3 friends staying for two days at his house. Never went out of the house. Called a few friends up and reminded ourselves of the good old days. The time went by quickly. Very enjoyable time. Hari seemed to be very content, smiles on his face, talking a lot good about family.
He was a very good friend to all his friends. He always listened to them and helped them, ignoring the negatives always emphasizing the positives. He was very honest.
Later on we had talked on phone a few times, making plans of meeting again. But it did not get substantiated.
No doubt Hari had a good life. He passed away in a very peaceful way, no pain, very calm, family besides all the time.. ...Lucky you Hari, not many people have this kind of life or this kind of end on life.
You will be missed a lot and very much remembered by all those close to you.
