When we were kids, you always said how you were "The Rock". Now over ten years later, we all get to see how true that was. You werent just "The Rock", you were our rock. Seeing all the hearts you have touched and the tears everyone has shed for you is proof of how important you were in everyones life. I never in a million years thought I'd be here, holding back tears because I'm in New York but you're not here. I'm still waiting for you to show up, as if you've just run to the store for some milk. At night, I feel like I'm sitting in the living room, waiting for you to come out the bathroom in your jersey and head upstairs for bed. I never thought that when I said goodbye to you before my flight back to Florida, that I'd never see you again after that. When you said how goodbyes were the worst part because that's when you cry, I didnt know that would be my last chance to say goodbye to you. Everyone says how much I look like you, and in truth it's like I lost half of myself when you died. My love of doritos, my love of cheese, my crybaby self, that and more all came from you. I wish you didnt have to go so soon, I wish you didnt have to go at all. You'll never walk me down the aisle, I'll never have a father-daughter dance, you wont get to meet any of your future grandchildren (who knew I'd ever regret NOT having a child young lol). You'll never even get to know how I planned on surprising you this Christmas by spending it with you. Truthfully, I dont know how I'm supposed to make you proud, if you're not here to write #proudpapa anymore. But we'll make sure the #proudpapa legacy lives on, even if you're gone. No one will ever be able to forget you, and nothing will ever be the same without you, no holiday, no celebration, no major event. And I want you to know that even though I'm in Florida, I'll always make sure to visit you, and I'll always hold a piece of you with me. I love you dad, forever and ever and ever.

Te fuistes demasiado pronto hijo de mi alma,  sin tener tiempo para alcanzar todos tus sueños. When tasia called me to tell me the news I couldn’t believe it, I was stunned. Out of everyone you, the most quietest guy in our fantasy football league. Sunday’s won’t be the same without you anymore, it was really weird to not see you last Sunday’s at dads house to watch the game. Wish you would of came though, I mean we wouldn’t of known. But to atleast have said goodbye. Hope you rest in paradise. 

I honestly just don't know where to begin, I have never been good with words but I want you to know that you were my rock my entire life. We spent everyday every moment of our childhood together as one and spent almost every holiday and birthday in our adult lives together as well. The one person I could confide in. You were an amazing brother, father, son and person overall. Family is what you were about and you always had a smile on your face no matter what. As we try to accept this tragedy of your loss I want you to know that as long as I live I will do all in my power to make sure Martha and the kids( yes including Natasha silly) are ok and will be right there by their side to not only mourn your loss but more importantly to celebrate the incredible person you were and still are in your new life. Thank you for being an amazing uncle to my kids and great uncle to my granddaughters. I love you bro and will forever keep you in my heart. May your soul be at peace and guide us through our lives. Forever missed but never forgotten my Irish twin.

Where do I even start.. I really can’t believe that you’re gone. You were a great father to all of us. You always had faith in whatever it is we wanted to do; always encouraging, guiding, and supporting us along the way. Everyone you came across thought nothing but the best of you because of how amazing of a person you were. No one can ever replace you, and the memories we shared with you will always be cherished. You were all about family and there’s no doubt in the world about that. What hurts the most is that the one person that we could always go to for anything is no longer here with us. You taught us everything we know and showed us the true definition of what a father is. We will never be the same again without your presence, but you will live on within us. We love you forever Dudeeee!! Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Until we meet again Dad..

dad... I don’t even know where to begin. I still can’t believe you’re gone. every memory, the laughs, jokes, car rides, and the dances you would always try to do with me, and basically everything. I can’t imagine you not being at my games anymore... you were my #1 fan, I will always think of you being there and still supporting me. i will make you proud and everything I do from now on is for you and you will always be in my heart... you are my hero.

thank you for being the best dad I could’ve ever asked for. God really blessed me by giving me a father like you. you were my support system, my bestfriend, my rock, my everything. I don’t know how I’m gonna move on without you but I’ll have to get through it. thank you for always trying to give everything to me & my siblings .. just to make us happy. thank you for being the hardworking man everyone knows you are to support our family and for giving us this “lavish lifestyle” (inside joke lol), I’ll miss every joke. dad, you’re legacy will always remain, and you will forever be with me no matter what❤️.

I still can't believe that your gone. My birthday will never be the same, because yours is the next day.. I'm so proud of the man you became.. we always were together growing up... On September 23rd, my beloved cousin Irvin Albelo passed away suddenly.  When I received the phone call I fell to my knees at work and my spirit was broken.  This is a very sad and depressing time for our family,  but there was never anything depressing about Irvin. He was a happy man and he had a happy life. I have always admired his calm demeanor and I looked up to him and considered him like a big brother.  (I literally always looked "up" to him!)  He was a comedian,  a loving father,  a dedicated husband,  a wonderful son,  an aspiring brother, a hard working manager,  a caring uncle and an amazing person as a whole.  
My two sons looked up to him and they used to call him,  "Tio Irv".   Irvin used to call my son EJ  "N.O.R.E" even though I never saw the resemblance.   
Now every holiday,  every family gathering and every birthday will never be the same without Irvin's presence.  Who is going to be my human shield for every July 4th gathering,  when all the fire works are flying all over the place?  I will miss you dearly primo. 
Thank you for reminding me how precious life is and not to take it for granted.  May your soul shine down on us and embrace us always,  until we meet again.  Forever in our hearts❤

Cuando trabajo en la Pizzería de mis padres en los finales de los 80’ nos hacía reír mucho con sus ocurrencias. Muchas veces sin saber que lo estábamos mirando a través de la cámara. Lo veíamos cortando cebollas y preparando todo antes de abrir mientras cantaba salsa haciendo monerías.  Esto fue cuando era flaquito y comía mucho y no se sabia para donde se iba la comida. 😂 Esta es mi memoria favorita. Yo sólo estaba en 5to ó 6to grado en Puerto Rico. 

Favorite Memory.. where do I begin? It’s hard when every memory of you has be my ultimate favorite. Every Football season, BBQ season & Holidays spent with you have been nothing but the best! Drinking Malibu & Pineapple while making fun of my father. You being my test dummy when it came to making drinks. Eating my fathers burn BBQs and not caring just because we enjoyed spending time together. No matter what happens you’ll always be the Champion in our fantasy football league. I guess now we can actually pray to our own fantasy GOD. I love you tio till the day we meet again
