Jacqueline Mauro, born on November 26, 1963, passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 61. A resident of Levittown, New York, “Jackie” as she was called by her friends was known for being selfless, inspirational, devoted, and cherished by all who knew her.
She was married to Charles for 35 years, and together they raised a loving family. Jackie was a devoted mother to Charles Vincent. She had five brothers and six sisters and was predeceased by one sister. Jackie was deeply family-oriented and leaves behind 42 nieces and nephews and 6 grand nieces and nephews all whom will miss her dearly.
In addition to her dedication to her family, Jackie was actively involved in her community as a volunteer in Scouting, where she inspired many with her selflessness and commitment. In her free time Jackie loved to crochet blankets for family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801, on September 26, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, 3100 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756, on September 27, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Jackie's presence will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
