EARL- James “JJ”, of Hicksville, N.Y, formerly of Kew Gardens, N.Y., died peacefully on December 19, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife, Iola, his six children, James, John, Doris, Donald, Evelyn, and Gerald, their respective spouses,16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A retired freight conductor of the LIRR, he will long be remembered for his love and enjoyment of the Shoreline Trolley Museum, bluegrass music and entertaining all with his guitar playing. Family will receive friends at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, N.Y. on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm.
