His love extended to his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Ryan, Dempsey, Sarah, Siannon, and his great-granddaughter, Alivia.
Jim was a loving brother to Mary, Catherine and Margaret and a loving Uncle to his Nieces, Nephews, and Godchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Gladys, and his brothers, Fr. Peter, S.M.M. and John (Christine).
A man who cherished the simple pleasures of life, Jim had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was fishing by the water, driving through the serene woodlands of upstate New York and Pennsylvania,or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, he found peace and solace in the natural world. His passion for the outdoors was only matched by his love for his family and friends, with countless cherished memories made through shared adventures, laughter-filled gatherings, and quiet moments spent together in nature’s embrace.
Jim was also a proud and honorable man of service. He served his country in the United States Air Force with distinction, a chapter of his life that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty. After his military service, he joined the New York City Police Department, where he worked as a dedicated Police Officer for many years.
In his later years, Jim remained active and engaged, always finding new ways to stay involved with his family and community. His warmth, wisdom and great sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Jim will be remembered as a man of integrity, a loving husband, father and grandfather, a proud veteran, and a dedicated public servant. His presence in the lives of his loved ones will be greatly missed; his memory will live on through the many lives he touched.
