I just found out of this sad news and with an incredibly heavy heart I leave my condolences to Jay's family. I knew Jay back in college. He was an incredibly funny guy and I'll never forget the fun times to include the pet snake he kept during those years. We kept in touch for many years but life got in the way and I lost touch. I'm so sorry my friend.  Hope you are in God's kingdom.

I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to share about you. When I first heard the news I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me. I’m still having difficulty processing it. I’m devastated that you left us too soon. The heartbreak for everyone who loved you will never go away. I wanted to thank you for being the best cousin and friend I could possibly have. And I wanted to thank you for always showing up!!! That has meant the world to me as we’ve gotten older. Life’s come along way from climbing trees, and hide and seek. Even though it life is still kinda like that. I have such wonderful memories of you and Jennifer and Jimmy and I. The fact that you are with Jimmy is really the only solace I have. You went to heaven on pops birthday. That made me wonder if pop let jimmy pick you as a present. Well that’s the way I like to think of it to make it ok. It never will be , but I needed to tell you that. I love you and miss you already. I will always picture the happiness on your face and your big smile. You always made everyone smile with that. And your huge heart and caring nature towards others. You were just the best Jason and I will always love you.

In taking the last few  days to think about “Who was Jason Suchadola” what comes to mind is that when my world turned upside down I learned who in my life was real and who was a fair weather friend.  Jason never stopped being Jason for me.  He was real and authentic and genuine. Few people made me laugh more in every conversation.  I mean every conversation.  I will miss his Cheshire Cat grin and good nature. He was kind to my kids and that meant so much to me and their mom. 

We’ve had so many fun times together.  I remember back to high school playing basketball and  more recently our annual trips to Smith and Wollensky.  I will miss your sense of humor, smile and always positive attitude.  So sorry for your family and all those who love you.   You will be missed.  Rest In Peace.

  i only  met you 5 or 6 years ago but it felt like we knew each other all our lives !  we went to so many fun shows and we drove  ANDY  nuts . i remember  when we went camping in Woodstock July 4 th 2 years ago UGH WAS THAT WILD

Jay, you will be missed more than I can put into words. You were a character beyond belief. Now you're with The Lord, making Him laugh.. Donna and I always looked forward to being in your company. Whether it be a night out listening to the local talent play or just a gathering of our little group. It didn't matter what we were doing. I was extremely shocked when I heard  the news about Jason, I couldn’t believe it, first that came to mind was my auntie and my little cousins, then I started to think about the last time I saw him, Christmas 2019. We were in Tenerife and I remembered all the things we did. He was always trying to make up plans.  What I wanna say is that Jason was always someone spontaneous, someone who cared for the people around him for the people he loved. He would ask if you want anything and come out with ideas to do things and have fun. He really enjoyed his family and close ones. I will always remember his laugh, I will always remember his love for his loved ones. He was great.

Jay and I worked together in the mortgage business.  He was always a kind soul and greeted everyone with a sincere smile. He was easy to love.  I will think of him often and always smile when I do. His basics were all wonderful.   

From the day we met you were welcoming and funny. I looked forward to seeing at closings because I knew I would leave with some new wisdom about something I never even thought existed. Boy you loved to talk and I really enjoyed listening. I will miss you my friend, Rest In Peace. 

So many to tell but driving to florida with a cardboard license plate on always makes me laugh,Jay was my oldest friend and will be missed by all that knew him terribly...Rest in Peace buddy

Big Jay! You were one hell of a guy! I’m going to miss your calls and hanging out every time I was in NY! I met you through my cousin Mike and you always treated me like family. You called me on holidays and sometimes just because. You were one of a kind and will be missed! Until we meet again, I know I’ll have your blessings from up above! 


I will always remember playing basketball  at Wolcott park and Azaela...you always rocking a  half serious -  half smile and some great laughs. See you on the other side amigo,  have the court ready! 

Jason and I were the best of friends for over 35 years.  From the days of  playing basketball at Northside to this very day we had many journeys and  have been through great times and well as tough times.   Jason is a friend to me that is irreplaceable. There will never be a day where I won't think of him and there won't be one day that I'll won"t dearly miss him .  To know Jason was to like him because he was such a great person.   May you rest in peace Jason and be received by angels in heaven. 

I Remember when you moved in across the street like it was yesterday with your leather jacket, chains, headband & boom box & became a lifetime friend to Steve & I. Love you like a brother many will miss you and your funny sense of humor jay you will be greatly missed....Rest In Peace 😞😥🙏
