John Bellamente

John Bellamente, age 89, of Lindenhurst, New York, formerly of Hicksville, New York, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Born in New York City on March 27, 1934, to Antonio and Josephine Bellamente.

John was the loving husband of the late Lena Rose Bellamente, and the beloved father of Anthony Bellamente and Joseph Bellamente.

A distinguished professional, John served as the Senior Vice President of Bowery Savings Bank. His commitment to excellence and leadership left a lasting impact on the banking community.

John was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he dedicated his time and energy to charitable causes and community service. His generosity and compassion touched the lives of many, reflecting his strong sense of duty to others.

A visitation for John will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 129 Broadway, Hicksville, New York, where family and friends will gather to celebrate John's life and bid him a fond farewell.

Following the Mass, an interment will occur on Monday, March 11, 2024, at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11785, where John will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Lena Rose.
