Joseph W. Kosiba

Joseph W. Kosiba of Old Bethpage passed on January 13, 2026, at the age of 95. He was the beloved and devoted husband of 66 years to Jane, whose partnership and love were the foundation of his life. A proud and loving father, Paul (Patricia), Susan (George), and Diane (Brian).

He was a cherished grandfather to Kelly (Jon), Caroline, Kyle, and James, and an adored great-grandfather to Sean. Family meant everything to Joseph, and he treasured every moment spent together.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, he had a lifelong passion for gardening, finding peace and purpose in tending to his plants, and he was a talented photographer who captured countless memories through his lens.

A man of faith and service, Joseph was a devoted member of the St. Pius Knights of Columbus, where he dedicated himself to his time in service to the parish community. He will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, unwavering devotion to his family, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801, on January 15, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Pius X RC Church, 1 St Pius Ct X Court, Plainview, NY 11803, on January 16, 2026, at 10:00 am

The Committal Service will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792.
