Joseph P. is survived by his wife, Loretta Kemp; his daughters Susan J. Emro (John) and Cathy Kemp; and his son Paul Kemp (Eileen), his grandchildren Michelle Kemp (Donny Zessin) and Gregory Kemp (Jennifer Rhon) and his great grandchild Damien, his nephews Henry "Skip" Laube (Eileen) and Richard Laube (Janice). Great Grandchild to be, Donny Jr.
Joseph P. was preceded in death by his sister Gertrude Laube.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 125 W. Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801. A Funeral Mass will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St Ignatius Loyola RC Church, 129 Broadway, Hicksville, New York.
Joseph proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952-1954, where he received a National Defense Service Medal.
He will be laid to rest in Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11736.
