

Kathryn Marie Bragg, a long time resident of Hicksville, New York passed away on May 22, 2024, . Born in the Bronx to loving parents William and Alice Rogers, Kathryn was known for her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Kathryn shared 30 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Gerard Bragg. Together, they built a loving family with their three children: Katelyn, Sean, and Kerry. Kathryn's devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life, as she constantly cared for and supported them.
She was a cherished sister to Bernadette (Frank Devito), Colleen (Walter Brady), Denise (Walter Jackson), and Frances (Tom Gonzales), and a dear sister-in-law to Bert Bragg (Pauline) and Kim (Anthony Gentile).
Kathryn had a passion for hosting and catering parties, and she delighted in taking care of everyone around her. She especially enjoyed her Pampered Chef parties and had a fondness for watching "Chopped" and other Food Network shows. Cooking was one of her greatest joys, and she loved experimenting with new recipes for her family to try. Her Filet Mignon was a particular favorite among her loved ones.
A lover of music, especially Frank Sinatra, Kathryn found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as visiting the beaches and lighthouse of Montauk, doing puzzles, enjoying Chinese food, sipping wine, playing Mexican Dominoes and wearing cozy sweaters because she was always cold. She was a dedicated mother, always present at sporting events and dance classes, and found solace in long walks with her husband, Gerard.
One of Kathryn's most cherished places was Woodloch Pines Family Resort, where she and Gerard were married 30 years ago. The resort became a special vacation spot for the family, filled with many happy memories.
Kathryn faced life's challenges with the heart of a warrior, demonstrating strength and resilience throughout her life. Her legacy of love, care, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 2-7 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, New York. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 am at Mt. Pleasant Crematory, Center Moriches, New York.
In addition to flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Kathryn's memory to St. Francis Hospital, reflecting her generous spirit and lifelong commitment to caring for others.
Kathryn Marie Bragg will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her love and warmth live on in the hearts of those she touched.
