Katie was one of my favorite students at Hicksville High School.I remember her fondly. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Much too young to be taken from all who loved her. My heart goes out to all of you.

Its been three days since we spoke and our last conversation continues to play in my head, I am struggling to accept this as reality, I check my phone as if im waiting to here from you. I have the most amazing memories of katie from middle and high school.  She always had the best sleep-overs at her house.  I remeber being in her moms mini-van driving to the haunted house around halloween and listening to show tunes! To katies mom and brother -you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I will always remember katie having a huge smile on her face. Her memory will live on in our hearts.

I am so heartbroken to hear of the death of my dear Katie! I have such fond memories of her and the wonderful times we had at Mio Posto!  I was always greeted by her warm smile and wonderful laughter.  I can still hear her bellow.."DARLING!" every time I walked in the door.  There was always a cold glass of Pinot awaiting me.  I loved her stories of her family.  My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family and those friends who are left behind. I am richer for have known Katie and proud to have called her a dear friend!  Rest in peace dear, sweet soul!
