Kerri-Anne McKeever

Kerri-Anne McKeever, age 51, sadly passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Kerri-Anne was the beloved daughter of Dennis and the late Susan McKeever; loving sister of Erin (Eric), Colleen, and Sean (Leanne); cherished aunt to Ava and Owen; and devoted dog mom to her beloved Cannoli. She treasured her family deeply, and the love she shared with them will remain a lasting part of their hearts and memories.

Kerri-Anne was an Aunt extraordinaire. From rainy fields to watch them play games, countless sleepovers, shopping for any hard to find gift to vacations in the mountains, Kerri-Anne made Ava and Owen her top priority. All fun and no rules!!

Kerri-Anne proudly dedicated 29 years of her life to the NYC Department of Education, where she worked as a paraprofessional. She was passionate about helping others and was a strong advocate for her colleagues, serving as a union representative and always willing to lend her voice, support, and kindness to those around her.

Her commitment to helping others extended well beyond her career. For 20 years, Kerri-Anne generously volunteered her time assisting with the Nassau County Games for the Physically Challenged. She found great meaning in giving back to her community and making a difference in the lives of others.

Kerri-Anne had an extraordinary love for dogs. That love led her to her passion, training Cannoli. Kerri-Anne was deeply committed to bringing Cannoli into her beloved PS 229 family. She devoted countless hours and tremendous effort to getting Cannoli approved. Though she did not get to see her hard work fully come to life, her dedication to Cannoli reflects just how deeply she cared for her school and students. Kerri-Anne had a special way of making people feel cared for.

Beyond her many acts of service, Kerri-Anne knew how to enjoy life. She loved shopping and, much to the amusement of her family and friends, proudly earned the affectionate title of “shopping athlete.” She was an avid sports fan and devoted supporter of her favorite New York teams—the Rangers, Yankees, and Knicks. She loved watching games, celebrating championship moments, and being part of the excitement of ticker-tape parades. These were some of the moments that brought her tremendous happiness.

And for those who knew Kerri-Anne best, there was one thing that could almost always be counted on: if she had a beverage in her hand, it was definitely a Diet Pepsi. It was one of those little things that became unmistakably and affectionately “Kerri-Anne.”

Kerri-Anne will be remembered for her generous spirit, her loyalty to family and friends, her love of Canolli, her dedication to helping others, and her ability to bring warmth and joy into the lives of those around her. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Kerri-Anne will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church in Levittown, NY. A private cremation will follow.

May Kerri-Anne’s memory be a blessing, her kindness never be forgotten, and the love she shared with so many remain a source of comfort to her family and friends. May she rest peacefully, knowing how deeply she was loved.
