Lawrence T. Moore

A dedicated FDNY firefighter stationed in Queens, NY, Lawrence also served in the US Navy. He was married to the late Eileen Moore (nee. Twomey), and together they raised two children, Lawrence J. (Lisa) and Marianne Mitchell (Dennis). He was a beloved Poppa to Kayla and Sean Coffin.

Lawrence was a longtime member of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Hicksville, NY, where he attended mass regularly. He enjoyed working in the yard and garage, and was an avid follower of Mets baseball and Jets football. Known for always joking around, Lawrence cherished his family and loved spending time with them.

Visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY, on September 17, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, 129 S Broadway, Hicksville, NY, on September 18, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.

Lawrence's legacy of love, humor, and dedication will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
