

It is with deep sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of Linda Jean (Soave) Andreone on May 28, 2026. Born on June 22,1956, Linda lived a life centered on family, compassion, and caring for others.
Linda was the beloved wife of 16 years to Mike Andreone, whom she loved dearly. Together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Davide and Jean Soave, and her brother, Michael Soave. She is survived by her loving siblings, David Soave and Anita Danzo (Anthony), as well as many cherished family members.
Linda was a devoted aunt who treasured her nieces and nephews, including Samantha Sweeney (Mike), Marc Soave, and David Soave. She was also a loving stepmother to Derek Andreone (Sue) and Darcy Sheriff (Scott), and a proud step-grandmother to Ryan, Tommy, Van, and Lee.
Family was the heart of Linda’s world. She nurtured and cared for everyone around her, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether through a comforting conversation, a warm meal, or a helping hand, Linda had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved and supported.
A dedicated paralegal throughout her career, Linda brought diligence, intelligence, and compassion to her work. Outside of her profession, she was known as the family historian, taking great pride in preserving family memories.
Linda also had a passion for cooking and found joy in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. She was a devoted cat lover whose home and heart were always open to her feline companions. At the time of her passing, she was lovingly caring for seven cats, each one a treasured member of her family.
Above all else, Linda loved her family. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Linda’s life at a Celebration of Life memorial service to be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 3:00pm - 7:00 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 w. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY.
Though she will be deeply missed, Linda’s love, warmth, and the countless lives she touched will remain in the hearts of those who loved her forever.
