Loretta Kemp

Loretta passed away peacefully at home. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, of over 65 years, in 2023 and her sister Jeanne (Al) Galeota. She is survived by her three children, Paul (Eileen) Kemp. Susan (John) Emro and Cathy Kemp. Loretta also leaves behind two Grandchildren, Michelle Kemp-Zessin (Donny) and Gregory Kemp (Jennifer Rhon). as well as two Great-Grandchildren Damien Kemp and Donald Zessin, Jr. and 2 nephews, Henry & Richard Laube.

Loretta enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, shopping and eating. She was especially fond of Pringles and chocolate. Before taking time out to raise her family, Loretta worked for the phone company as an operator.

A visitation for Loretta will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A visitation will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, 129 S Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801.
