A wonderful mother who was cherised by her family.  We were blessed to have her for 93 years.  She leaves us with a whole in the family.  She will be missed by all.  She loved being a grandparent and the grandchildren idiozed her.  

There are so many memories I have with Aunt Mary and her family.  When my parents moved to Florida,  Aunt Mary & Uncle John, promised my parents that they would look out for me.  For 30+ years, they did just that.  Aunt Mary may not be my biological mother, but I consider her my adopted mom.  

Aunt Mary was famous for her eggplant parm.  I remember my mom asking her for her recipe and sauce and Aunt Mary said her secret was Ragu.  Oh, how we laughed as the Italian woman, who makes "gravy (aka sauce) used Ragu.

The latest funny thin, I remember,  was Easter when Aunt Mary made Hamantachen and me, Jewish girl, made and Easter basket pie with bunnies.  How ironic and BTW, her cookies were delish!!

Aunt Mary is greatly missed.  She has left a great legacy in her children and grandchildren.   Although 93, she was taken too early.  She was beautiful person, inside and out.   Heaven truly has a new angel.  

RIP.  We will celebrate your life and how much better we all are for knowing you.  Love Always





I am so eternally grateful to have had such an amazingly strong and loving woman in my life. My grandmother will forever be remembered and loved by so many people. At 93 years old, she lived independently, was driving cars, climbing ladders and cutting hedges. She never let her years age her. Everyday she challenged herself and inspired others to be better and do better, and I am a better woman and wife today because of her. If nothing else, she was the most selfless woman I know. I could always count on her for sound advice about life, and for unconditional love and support. My grandmother will forever be in my heart and I hope to always make her proud.

Every year on January 28th I'd post a big shout out to the biggest role model in my life on her birthday and reflect on everything she's done for me and her family.  I am beyond heartbroken but am grateful for she lived a long prosperous life.  

I always admired how independent and stubborn she was.  Especially whenever it snowed! If we didn't get to her house fast enough her loving neighbors would be out there hollering at her to get back inside.  She always defended her actions by saying she'd only shovel a little bit.  The only way I could get her back inside was to tell her I was hungry or thirsty.  Her desire to help was too great and she'd immediately run inside to heat up a pizza.  

I love you Grandma, always and forever!

So truly blessed to have cherished you for 93 years.  Our family is as wonderful as it is because of your example, love and guidance.  You will be missed every minute of everyday until we meet again.  I know you used to tease that I "only listened with half a ear," but truth be told, I heard every word you said.


My heart is sad today.  Aunt Mary was truly one of a kind.   I couldn’t have asked for a better back door neighbor.   So many wonderful memories through the years.   Give a whistle to Uncle John for me.   You will be missed ❤️

Mary was family friend  for years ! She was always pleasant , beautiful,   lady when we were together ❤️She  with the angels now and forever in our hearts ❤️
