While married to Charlie, they truly enjoyed life while raising two children, Mark and Patricia. Some of trips they took over the years were Italy, Bahamas, North Carolina visiting with Tricia and her grandchildren, New Hampshire and Lake George. Maureen was an avid walker whether it was outdoors or on her treadmill. Their retirement years were spent with the members and friends of the Korean War Veterans Association. Charlie is the Commander of the Nassau County Chapter and Maureen was always right by his side volunteering her time for whatever function they were planning ie; parades, parties, dinners etc. It did not matter what needed to be done, Maureen was always ready to help with a smile. Charlie and Maureen made a great team and truly enjoyed their time together. Maureen enjoyed her dinner plans with Charlie and her family at her favorite restaurants Venere and the Oak Chalet. And Maureen was always so proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and hearing all of their stories. She was a loving and sweet Grandma!
