Emily was my first cousin.  I was five years older than her.  Her father and my mother were brother and sister.  I remember her father when she was a little girl calling her "Blondie".  She and Joe always came to all the family functions. She was always ready for a good laugh.  Through the years we don't always get to see everyone but we always have our memories and keep them close in our hearts.  She was loved and will be missed by all.

Emily is my first cousin!  I was in her bridal party (my first time ever) I think I was 15.  Emily is someone who accepted you as you are, her door was always opened to our aunts and uncles, cousins and friends and boy they were there every weekend.  She was a most loving person her heart was as big as the moon.  She always said it like it is, and we loved her for it.  After all our aunts and uncles were gone, we remained close.  She became  part of my grandchildren’s lives and they truly loved her.  She came with us to the Melville animal farm, Adventureland and the kids favorite place, Chucky Cheese.  She will be sorely missed by all of us.  She loved her boys and her husband Joe of 50 years.  I am privileged to call her my cousin.  Rest In Peace, I love you,  Patricia

I met Emily at Frank & Camille's in the 80's when I managed the 15 Old Country Rd, Westbury store. Joe was doing furniture work & I asked him if he knew of anyone who might want to clean the store & pianos on a regular basis. He said "sure" & introduced me to Emily. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship for me. Emily's sense of humor was similar to mine & boy, could we laugh! She was a great, hard working asset to the team. It turned out she had no limits. She was the captain of odd jobs, anything that needed to get done, Emily was there...with competence & care: for the jobs & the people, all of us.  A beautiful soul....she will be missed, but when I think of her she brings a smile to my face.
