Ricky was a great person.  He was a staple in the Roslyn Heights area.  My family and I knew him for years.  He was very social and loved to stop by and say hi to all of the neighbors and business owners.  He was always smiling and upbeat.  He just had a great spirit about him. I hadn't seen him in years since I moved to NC but my family is still in Roslyn.  It's amazing how one person could have such a profound effect on an entire community.  Keep smiling, Ricky :) You will be missed XX

We are so saddened to hear this terrible news. Richie was such a hard worker and enjoyed all his friends at The Country Store. My husband and I employed Richie for many years. He was a staple on Mineola Ave. Loved going to visit Tony at Debonaire and loved being a part of our family. My girls, Joanna, Danielle and Nichole grew up with Richie and they too were upset to hear this terrible news.

I Michael Lukas, Jennifer Lukas, and Lucille Davis from Garden Cleaners just heard about Rickey's death. We missed him and were in shock. He always came to our store for Pepsi and snacks or change for the bus. We are very sorry and will miss him.
