With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert D. Dwyer, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose larger-than-life spirit touched everyone around him. Rob was the cherished son of Karen and Robert Dwyer, loving brother to Mary (Chris) and Meghan, and proud uncle to Hunter and Rylie, who will forever carry his warmth and laughter in their hearts.
Rob loved baseball, cheering on his New York Jets and Mets, and spending time outdoors. His greatest joy was camping with family, where he was known as the master of the campfire—bringing stories, light, and laughter to every gathering.
Though he left us too soon, his glow will never fade. Rob will continue to shine brightly through every campfire flame and every memory shared by those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on November 21, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Ignatius Loyola RC Church, located at 129 Broadway, Hicksville, on November 22, 2025, from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm.
