Robert R. Maller

Born May 24, 1925 in Jamaica Queens. Son of Johanna and Charles Maller. Past away January 12th, 2018.

Devoted husband of Dolores (married 55 years). Loving and devoted father of Samuel (Jane), Robert Jr. (Laura), and David. Beloved and cherished Grand Father of Liana, Daniel, Richard, Timothy, Kristin and Katharine. Beloved and cherished Great Grand Father of Austin, Matthew, Avery, Amaya and Rosemary. Devoted Cousin to Larry Buettner and devoted friend to Audrey Buettner.

Graduated with an Engineering degree from Virginia Tech, class of 1948. Member of the 102nd Infantry Division, European Theater from 1944 - 1945. Forty one year career as a materials engineer working for US steel, Republic Aviation and Grumman Aircraft Corporation. Chairman of the Long Island Chapter of the American Society for Metals (1980 - 1981).

Loved Long Island, bowling, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Loved going to Baseball games (Mets) and Football games (Giants).
