Ruth E. Little

She was a native of New York City, but had lived in Connecticut before moving to Clay County

four years ago. She was a retired salesperson working for Gertz Department Store in Hicksville,

New York. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Salem in Salem, Connecticut.

Ruth was a past President of the Salem Seniors for many years.

She was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Elizabeth Petry Hebeler and the wife of the late

Henry George Little, who died October 4, 1983. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel

Little; and two brothers, Eugene and Louie Hebeler.

Surviving is a son, Russell Little and wife, Evelyn of Spring Hill, Florida; two daughters, Christine Lindo and husband, Horace of Oakdale,Connecticut; Carol J.

Mascali and husband, Roger of Hayesville; and eleven grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in New York at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville, NY on Monday

January 30, 2017. Calling hours will be from 9:00am to 10:30 am with the interment at Pinelawn

Memorial Park in East Farmingdale, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Ruth E. Little to the

Congregational Church of Salem, 244 Hartford Road, Salem, Connecticut 06420 or Good Sheperd

Hospice, 125 Medical Park Lane, Suite H, Murphy, NC 28906.
