

Wilhelm Krueger, a cherished and beloved resident of Hicksville, New York, passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on September 10, 1940, in Germany and immigrated to America in 1960. Wilhelm was known for being hard-working, kind-hearted, and selfless throughout his life.
Wilhelm dedicated his career to working as the lead maintenance mechanic for various tech and engineering companies, including General Instruments, Standard Microsystems, and Photocircuits on Long Island, until he retired at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea, his children, Kevin and Markus, and his grandsons, Liam, Logan, Shawn, and Justin. Wilhelm found joy in making stained glass windows and ornaments and enjoyed golfing in his leisure time.
Despite weathering diabetes, heart attacks, and even a stroke, Wilhelm always seemed to bounce back, before finally succumbing to a weak heart in his old age.
Visitation will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801, on June 29, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the same venue on June 30, 2025, at 10:00, followed by interment at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, New York.
Wilhelm will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
