A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point.
Anke was born on January 31, 1967 in Mannheim, Germany to Elwood Thomas Lilly Jr. and Petra Schmidt Lilly. She grew up in Louisville, Kentucky before moving to the High Point area thirty years ago. Anke attended East Carolina University and was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She enjoyed reading, loved nature and loved her cats, Nick, Teddy and Gracie.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Byron Clodfelter; parents, Elwood Thomas Lilly Jr. and Petra Schmidt Lilly; sisters, Tanya Thomas (Mike) and Kathryn Lilly; and two nephews, Lane Clodfelter and Aiden Thomas.
Her paternal grandparents Elwood Thomas Lilly Sr. and Thelma Lucille Lilly and her maternal great grandmother Johanna Elsa Schmidt preceded her in death.
