

Ann Truzzolino, who lived and played at the Stratford in High Point, NC, went home to be with the Lord on April 21. Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Bianculli, Ann is survived by her brother Joseph Bianculli and was preceded to heaven by her siblings James Bianculli, Marie Harrison and Grace Bianculli. She married George Truzzolino, and shared 55 glorious years together. Her son Sal preceded her to heaven. Ann is survived by her son Steve Truzzolino and Rita of Jersey City; her daughter Laura Bernard and Eddie of Staten Island, her son John Truzzolino and his partner Karl Brossard of Jersey City, and her daughter Lisa Hubbard and Larry of High Point; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Besides knowing George since the age of 9, they were born on the same exact day, September 28, 1928. Ann shared many of her husband’s favorite past times including golf, reading and playing cards. She was an awesome tennis player and a Bingo fanatic. Ann was a blessed lady in many ways.
From Staten Island, NY to Venice, FL and back to High Point, NC, Ann spread the love of our Lord wherever she went. She will be greatly missed and leaves behind a legacy of living the life of a humble servant of the Lord.
A mass will be said at Immaculate Heart of Mary, High Point, NC, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. by Father Joseph C. Zuschmidt O.S.F.S. Officiant. The family will receive friends in the Gathering Space of the church from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service. Mrs. Truzzolino will be returned to Staten Island, New York where the family will receive friends at the John V. Scalia Funeral Home, 28 Eltingville Blvd. on Friday from 2:00 till 5:00 pm and again from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be said Saturday April 27th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Child Catholic Church in Staten Island. Interment will follow the service in the Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
