Annie Haley Boyles

Annie was born in High Point, March 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Julius Elbert Haley and Lillie Mae Baxley Haley. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Boyles, and they had 68 wonderful years together before his passing in 2022. Annie had a fifty plus year career with High Point Bank and Trust Company. She loved window shopping until you dropped and enjoyed trips to the beach. Annie was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Boyles.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Griffis (Joel); a son, Rick Boyles; a sister, Ruby Ledbetter; a brother, Roy Haley (Bonnie); two grandchildren, Beth Stewart (Jerry) and Bryan Griffis (Jericha); three great-grandchildren, Emmalee, Ella and Vada.

A celebration of Annie's life will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplin Patricia Greene. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
