April Monique Whitt, 51, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her residence.
April was born in High Point, February 7, 1970. She was a 1988 graduate of Ledford Senior High School and had a long career in health care, making many dear friends along the way.
Everyone who knew April knew she was more fun than a barrel of monkeys. She was always the life of the party and was always ready to laugh, dance and sing. She loved animals with all her heart and gave loving homes to many in her time. She was an avid reader and loved a good nap with her favorite babies, her two dogs Sammy and Dolly.
Surviving are her mother, Joy Whitt; a sister, Misty Baxley and her husband Jesse; a niece, Josie who April adored from day one.
A Celebration of April's life will be held with close friends and family at a later date. Memorials should be directed to the American Diabetes Association, the ASPCA, Ruff Love Rescue in Thomasville, or the local rescue shelter of your choice
