Arthur "Art" Berg, began his greatest adventure with his Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Art was born in Bradford, PA 1946, a son of the late Carl Berg and Kellela Smith Berg. He was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving in Alaska, the Caribbean as well as on the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle and had many wonderful stories about his adventures in the service. He worked various managerial positions with the three major HVAC manufacturers. From mountain climbing in the Himalayas, to solo backpacking in Alaska, kayaking, sailing, horseback riding, fox hunting and fly fishing for rainbow trout, he did it all. Art was known for his love of life, the Lord and his family. He always started a story with "Did I ever tell you about the time..."

Surviving are his wife of almost 39 years, LIsa Herr Berg; five children, Kevin Berg, Aaron Berg (Nicole), Annica Berg, Maggie Berg and Isaiah Berg; one granddaughter, Evelyn Berg; three sisters, Betty Knapp, Donna Master (Jim) and Diane Peace (Bill); and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl Berg, Jr.

Art was a generous man and a faithful member of Community Bible Church, having served as an elder and certified Biblical counselor. Memorials should be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. A Celebration of Art's life may be held at a later date.

I was blessed to be Art’s little sister except he was a hard act to follow. In school I was always oh, your Art’s sister.
It was so nice to spent time with him just a short time before he passed. We had time to ( rather Art did) share many memories

Dear Lisa, Aaron, Annica, Isaiah, Maggie and Kevin, yes, we will miss Art but we feel his loving spirit among us. " The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace ". In loving memory of ARTHUR DENNIS BERG, A MAN OF GREAT SUBSTANCE and my pleasure to have known.

I was privileged to know Art for only a short time, but in that short time we shared a lifetime of memories, I will you Art.

We are so fortunate to have known Art. What short amount of time we spent together was filled with laughter and good times. To say Art enjoyed an audience whereas he would share his stories of travel and adventures would be an understatement.. but to his credit he lived a full life filled with many amazing experiences. We will miss our friend, and cherish his memory.

Art and Lisa had just gotten to the beach and Art parked his chair under our tent that kept collapsing in the wind! Everyone was outside the tent at one particular point "except" Art when it collapsed again and we all looked around and said "where is Art"? Little did we know he was still sitting in his beach chair with a beer in his hand oblivious to the tent on top of him and grinning like he had no care in the world! It was a very funny site😄
